About

Psychology-focused BDSM

As a licensed psychotherapist and former doninatrix, I have developed  my own theory I call Psychology-Focused BDSM which focuses not just on the specific kinks and fetishes of BDSM , but on the psychology behind each kinky desire. By focusing on the psychological aspects rather than just the physical acts or attire, etc. your BDSM play will be more impactful, intense and intimate.

kink

A KINK is a BDSM activity such as spanking or bondage, something that you DO during kinky play. With Psychology-Focused BDSM you will use an understanding of why your partner has a kinkand the psychological differences between popular types of kink play.

fetish

A FETISH is an object or body part that is desired, such as leather or feet, which is worn or shown off during BDSM play and sometimes "worshipped" through touch or kiss duirng kinky play. With Psychology-Focused BDSM you will use an understanding of why your partner has a fetish and the psychological differences between popular types of fetish play.

Dezstate

Dezstate is a word I have coined for the state that a person desires to gain from participating in BDSM.

Psychology-Focused BDSM is primarily focused on how determine your own and others' dezstate and how to reach your own dezstate, as well as how to help others to reach their dezstate.  Rather than focusing on the Kinks and Fetishes that are actually only the vehicles to reach a devastate, Psychology-Focused BDSM describes how to determine a dezstate as well as how to apply techniques to reach particular dezstates.
